Tri-State Chinese American Chemical Society (CACS) 2019 Symposium

Symposium theme: Sustainability in Chemistry: Challenges and Solutions.

Speakers: Senior R&D leaders from industry, distinguished educators from universities as well as Influential entrepreneurs.

Vendor show: A vendor exhibition will be held in parallel to podium presentations. Vendors are welcome to participate.

Career opportunities: Several companies will post job openings and it will also be a good opportunity to network with R&D leaders and scientists from chemical and pharmaceutical companies.

Time: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019

Location: Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Lecture Hall 131, Rutgers University, Busch Campus, 160 Frelinghuysen Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854

Cost: Free and open to public. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.

CACS- Tristate Chapter is a nonprofit organization that has served the Tri-state region since 1981. Its mission is to provide opportunities of self-development, learning and relationship-building for Chinese chemical professionals from the United States and Greater China in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The symposium has, in the past, featured presentations and panel discussions participated by ACS presidents, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers on topics ranging from global business and career opportunities, challenges that face the profession of chemistry, healthcare, energy, environmental issues, and the place of chemistry in humanity.

Important Parking Instructions for the 2019 Tri-State CACS Annual Symposium

Free event parking is available only for guests who register their vehicle by clicking the link at https://rudots.nupark.com/events/Events/Register/1e100a50-0cb0-4d7b-800b-8e05861ca915. Until this process is completed their vehicles are not registered and may receive a citation. Guests may park in Lots 58, 58A, 58B, & 58C, located next to the Library of Science and Medicine on 165 Bevier Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 (please use this address for your GPS). The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy Building is right behind the Library of Science and Medicine. Event parking is only for visitors/guests to Rutgers University. Rutgers faculty, staff, and students must park only in lots they are authorized to park in.
