三州华美化學會2013年年會:全球化学化工企业面临的挑战和机会

三州华美化學會將与罗格斯大學药学院合作,於6月22日(週六)在罗格斯大學的布什中心(Busch Campus Center of Rutgers University, Piscataway,NJ)共同主办题为“全球化学化工企业面临的挑战和机会”的2013年年會。

2013年年會有幸邀請到多位化學, 医药,和能源等不同領域中重量級的演講人。美國化學學會2013 年主席Marinda Wu 博士將亲临年会并主講“合作与进步和繁荣”。美國化學學會(American Chemical Society)是全球最大的科技協會。它擁有超過16萬名會員,並且是世界上最有權威的科技信息來源之一.来自陶氏化学全球研发总监,新泽西化学理事会主席Brian Maurer将作题为“新的复兴中的化学工业”演讲。Temple 大学的副校长及教务长Hai-Lung Dai博士也将到会作题为“ 全球化中培训化学专业人士的新模式”。Merck全球化学分析部的执行总监ZhiHong Ge 博士演讲的题目是 “分析技术与药物的发现和开发”。Integrated Analysis Inc的主席兼CEO将就个体云信息技术的应用展开讨论。 我们还有幸邀請到中石化的副总工程师Changxi Miao博士,Buchanan Ingersoll &Rooney律师合伙人Fang Liu博士,TB Alliance, 非营利组织,总监Tian Yang, Johnson and Johnson, Ethicon 人力资源部的全球副总裁Vivian Yao作主题发言。

The Tri-State Chinese American Chemical Society (CACS) 2013 Annual Symposium will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Busch Campus Center, Rutgers University- Piscataway NJ (604 Bartholomew Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854, the same location as previous years). The symposium is co-sponsored by the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University.

Attendance is free to all professionals and students in chemistry and related fields. Registration at www.tristatecacs.org is strongly recommended. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to all registered symposium participants.

The theme for this year’s symposium is “New Challenges and Opportunities in the Global Chemistry Enterprise”. We are living in a world that is changing rapidly. For a business to survive and thrive, it must constantly innovate and reinvent itself. Chemical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic businesses are no exceptions. Prominent speakers at the upcoming CACS Annual Symposium will share their wisdom and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities we chemists face today. Confirmed speakers for the symposium are from ACS organization, academic professional, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, non-profit organization, entrepreneur, law firm and a major petro company in China.

CACS- Tristate Chapter is a nonprofit organization that has served the Tri-state region since 1981. Its mission is to provide opportunities of self-development, learning and relationship-building for Chinese chemical professionals from the United States and Greater China in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The symposium has, in the past, featured speeches from and panel discussions participated by ACS presidents, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers on topics ranging from global business and career opportunities, challenges that face the profession of chemistry, healthcare, energy, environmental issues, and the place of chemistry in humanity.

CACS has been sponsoring the annual symposium since 1981, which has featured speeches from ACS presidents, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers on topics ranging from global business and career opportunities, challenges that face the profession of chemistry, healthcare, energy, environmental issues, and the place of chemistry in humanity.
